The story of your photographer

Hi there! My full name is Brittany Sandoval + I am the face and owner of Brittany Nicole Photography. I am a HUGE lover of all things neutral, photography, candid photos, and chasing that golden hour light.

I am a wife + a mother of 5 wonderful littles! I was born in Texas and moved all around due to my father being in the Air Force. I met my husband here in Virginia when I was going to school at Old Dominion University + he was here for classes before he was stationed in Norfolk. We eloped at the courthouse in Virginia Beach in 2017 then moved to Cali where we lived for 5 years. My husband received orders here again, and now we are back in Chesapeake until the summer of 2026, when we will be headed to Springfield, MO, for the next 3 years, to start our new chapter as first-time homeowners!

I started my career as an intimate lifestyle + wedding photographer back in the spring of 2021 but I have been a lover of all things photography since I was about 8 years old; whether it was my phone, a disposable, film, or digital camera- you could find me capturing the moment wherever I went. Because my father was in the Air Force we were stationed in Germany, which is when I picked up my first digital camera, where I took photos of landscapes, castles, architecture, etc! I never would've thought that my shy self would be in front of people capturing y'all's love stories!! 

A couple of my "whys" in this career are that just ONE photo can unleash hundreds of memories + emotions, and you never know if you will be capturing someones last photo with a loved one. That is why this career means the world to me.
