FAQ

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am located in Springfield, MO BUT I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee if it takes place further than 20 miles.

Do you offer payment plans?

1,000 X YES! I don't expect my clients to pay all up front. For weddings + elopements, after I receive the signed contract + the 30% non-refundable retainer, I will customize a payment schedule for y'all to review. If we need to adjust the schedule that is perfectly fine!

For sessions the non-refundable retainer is 50% of the total. The remaining 50% is due 7 days before your scheduled date.

How do you ensure my photos are safe?

I shoot with two camera bodies & both bodies have dual card slots. Your images from your day will record on BOTH cards simultaneously. Once your day is finished I will back your photos up on two different hard drives. IF both these measures fail, I have an image recovery program that I would run all cards on to retrieve those images safe & sound.

How do you photograph weddings?

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you get to organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights.. all the things. ALSO, it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites, literally EVERYTHING down to the color palette of your day ! On your wedding day, all I want to capture are the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details in between that make your wedding unique.

When will I receive my photos?

For weddings, I will provide sneak peaks within 72 hours
You will receive an online gallery link sent to your email with all your photos within 8 weeks for weddings & within 4 weeks for elopements + sessions.

How many pictures will I receive?

Since every one of my clients' days & sessions are different, I don't give a set number of images that you will receive. I don't believe in a maximum number of images so with that being said, I will choose & hand edit all the best images.

Do you give out Raw Images?

NO! Raw files will not be given out to my clients since they are not a representation of my work. Editing is a true part of the art of photography.

I will also not change my editing style for client preference, nor will I re-edit another photographer's work unless the OK was given prior.

What should I wear to my session?

Wardrobe is so important in setting the tone & vibe for your session! I CANNOT stress this enough, EARTHY TONES!!! I will email you a Pinterest board of outfit inspiration after you have signed your contract. I am always available also to help you make your decisions.

How do you decide on session location?

Your location all depends on what vibe you love! If you want me to take creative freedom which I LOVEEEEEEE to do, so no biggie if you're stuck in a rut. It also depends on the time of year, lighting, weather, & OUTFITS. However, anything that is past 20 miles from me may be subject to a travel fee.
